Connect SAP Lumira Personal Edition to SAP HANA

Hello,

I have downloaded and installed SAP Lumira Desktop in my personal computer. I have succesfully connected it to my SAP HANA system, and I am getting charts from my data in calculation and analytical views from SAP HANA.

According to SAPLumira.com, SAP Lumira Personal Edition cannot be connected to SAP HANA, but I have connected it. What is going on? Why can I connect it? Is it correct what this web says?

Technically,  the connection is NOT suppose to be allowed.  However, it was discovered that the personal edition was not limiting certain functionality.  This simply has not been rectified as of yet.

it is far better than stating the product can do something that it doesn't so there has been no rush to change this.
