HANA Studio: BW Reporting Preview

Hello Experts,

could you please teach me about the basics of the BW preview function in HANA Studio Modelling Tools?

What I have to do, to get a data preview of an BW Query?

I opened a BW Query in the HANA Studio, which was also designed in HANA Studio. After that  I clicked on data preview and received the following error message.

In case if you issue is still not resolved....

We had this issue and got resolved after enabling HTTPS in SMICM..

Did you check out the guide on SAP BW Modeling tools? There are prerequisites that have to be met in order for the BW preview to work properly:

BTW: I'm not a BW expert (or should I say yet here as I love to learn) I'm just trying to help out here which comes down to using Google in a smart way in order to help push the needle so I hope this is indeed a correct reference and can help you out, interesting to see if it's the case.
