"Check whether both are under same company code or not", Further check with FI/CO as well for better understanding.

    Hi ,

The person you are trying to assign with the cost center, may already have been assigned to a different company code, which is why the issue or cost center might be locked for primary posting..

    Please check that again once.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Check the object type"P" is connected with Cost center K directly or not?. If it's there then delimit that and then assign the costcenter to organizational unit level from the delimit date (this date would be that date from which cost center will be changed for the organizational unit level).

    Regards,

    Hi Sriram and Venkatesh,

I am now assigning cost center to Organizational Unit. when I hire an employee this cost center would automatically defauted to employee based on the Organization Unit for which hiring action takes place.

I also confirm that company code is already assigned to controlling area.

    Please help.
