How to switch to Responsive UI/new UI 1505

Hallo,

is there a possibility to switch from HTML UI to the new Design(Responsive UI), without changing the URL(newclient.html)?

Can i configuring it somewhere as default UI?

Hi Ali,

    Currently, this feature is not supported in 1505. There are 2 options to switch to responsive ui:

1) Change the html file to newclient.html (which you already know) OR

2) Use the parameter client_type=newhtml

     For e.g: myXXXXXX.crm.ondemand.com/sap/public/byd/runtime?client_type=newhtml

     XXXXX should be replaced with the your system number

Setting the responsive UI as default will be supported in future releases.

Thanks for sharing this information but i need to know what is the development environment to build / change something custom or enhancement in C4C.

1) Is development environment different for responsive UI? Currently we are using SAP Cloud Application Studio for custom work.

2) Can you please tell me what is the platform used in responsive UI?

3) Does this mean there is possibility to change the full development environment from SAP Cloud Application Studio into other platform?

Please help me if you have any idea about this.

Change to Silverlight

but this will only start in Silverlight, not for the Responsive UI.
