Is CONVERT_OTF_2_PDF Obsolete?

I'm using 4.7 and I came across this OSS note 525865 that refers this function module as obsolete. Is this correct? What function module can I use to instead? Is this the same for ECC 5.0 as I'm also using this system.

I don't know if that FM is obsolete or not, but this is an alternative.

SX_OBJECT_CONVERT_OTF_PDF

Dear JBL,

FM SX_OBJECT_CONVERT_OTF_PDF can certaily be useful for your requirement.It internally uses the function module CONVERT_OTF . the FM CONVERT_OTF can also be used as per requirement.

One among this should certainly help you.
