Questions on Mashups?

Hello All,

I have a couple questions regards to Mashups. Thanks for your feedback.

1. Will mashups work, in offline mode?

2. Can Mashups be views on mobile devices? I

• IPAD
• Smartphones (Iphone and Android)

Ans : No

Que 2 :Can Mashups be views on mobile devices?

Ans : Yes but your URM type will be public or within the VPN network.

We have similar requirement using URL mashups we have open that URL in public network also we have tried using within the VPN network.

HTML mashups its not open into the cloud apps but when you open it its display the message please open into Safari Browser.

Thanks for your responses. Could you please clarify your response to Question-2

are HTML Mash ups not accessible via the APP? But we can open them on the safari browers on Mobile devices correct?

What about data mashups? are they accessible on mobile devices?

Hi Karthik,

When you configured the HTML mashups on any screen like Account screen and open Ipad Cloud For Customer Apps its display the HTML mashups tab under the Account but when you click on that tab it display the message "Open this URL into Safari".

But I will suggest you please use URL mashups because it display or execute with configured parameter the result as per your expectation.

When you use HTML mashups it display only URL part not with configured parameters on Mashups Authoring so its not execute properly.

Hello Mithun,

I am trying to make my URL mashup show up IPad. However it requires the tag: Tablet in its tag. I am unable to add this tag via the Cloud Application Studio UI designer. It gives me an error message:

'There are no tags configured for this component'.

Could you let me know how did you add this tag?

Hi Sangeeta,

We have created URL mashups in front-end Application and User Management -> Mashups Authoring-> Select URL mashups.

->Configured mashups as per your requirement.

-> Go to that screen and adapt and select your created URL Mashups and in the property select Enable Header level.

-> Once you enable it the URL mashups shown in Header level data with Hyperlink.

There are 2 option to enable URL mashups

1) Web Service button

2) Header Section.

Please check and let me know.

In my case i can able to see the URL mashups in Ipad with working condition.

I am working on the mash up configuration on IPAD.In desktop We can able to set Proxy exception like below screenshot.

we are trying to add proxy exception on Safari browser IPAD as well. how we can achieve this...? Please share your input.
