Supersession in ECC Forecasting

Hi,

My client has a business requirement that involvessupersessionfunction.

I have been reading Maintenance of Supersession Chains - Supersession - SAP Library

andmaintain the configuration and maintain PIC01. I can see the stock overview (MMBE) has been rolled up together from the old material to the new material number.

According to Forecasting for Supersession Parts - Supersession - SAP Library I shouldseesupersession tools on/off button switch in forecasting view of material master, but I don't see that.

Does anyonehasexperience withsupersession in ECC forecasting (Consumption based planning)?
