How to get date/time in MD07 Screen print copy

Dear SAP Gurus,

The date/time of MD07 (collective stock/requirement list) run is not getting captured when I am taking print out of MD07 Screen. However I could see in the layout hidden fields (in Print list-Variable screen) there is CPU time for MRP and Read Operating time fields, but when I select it is not showing any time.

Whereas the date of MD04 run is visible when I am taking print out of MD04 screen.

I want to get date/time in MD07 print copy for my filing and audit purpose.

Request you valuable input for the same.

You can use user exit, M61X0002 or BAdi MD_ADD_COL_EZPS.

I am new to this area and I need to give more detail to my ABAPER.

Hence I request you to provide me how to program the User exit or BAdi or provide me the link to get those details which I can share to my Abaper and explain him to program it.

Hi Brahmankar,

In addition to above inputs required, I request you to clarify few more doubts.

1. When I see M61X0002 or BAdi MD_ADD_COL_EZPS documentation, It says it can used for displaying additional information in separate columns in MD04 or MD05 list. Whether we can use it for MD07 list also.

2. I could not see any User exit column either in MD07 or MD04 initial screen. Then where we need to enter this user exit key while running the MD07 report. Since we want to implement this only for one Plant and one MRP controller. 

Since I am not familiar in this area I request you to provide more details.

Hello Velmurugan,

By using BAdi MD_ADD_COL_EZPS you can show additional information in the stock/requirements list and in the MRP list also the collective access of stock/requirements list (Transaction MD07) as well. Pleas go to SE18 and read the documentation of BAdi and consult your technical person on it.

Thanks for your continued guidance.

I am working with Abaper for BAdi.

Meanwhile I would like to know , whether there is any other standard evaluation report available equivalent to MD07 that will meet my need.

My need is , I want to check Material availability with existing stock and with receipts and with traffic lights warning system.

I have checked MD06 and MD46 somewhat similar (but may not be accurate in stock like MD07). In MD06 there is one processing date in initial screen. What is the purpose and meaning of it. Since I could not see any change in MRP list with or without processing date period.

I just to want to confirm that BApi is the only solution to meet my requirement of having transaction run date in print copy of MD07 report.
