Hi,
if you have a configuration on Basic Data 2 view then you can simply click on the Copy X-Plant configuration on MRP3 view and it will be copied over to the plant view.
If you do not have any configuration then you can enter your KMAT to the ConfigurableMaterial field and click on the Configure variant. The KMAT should have configuration profile (CU41), class and characteristic assignments.
Best regards
Tamas

Dear ,
To have configurable material to link in MRP-3 view.You need to define class and characteristics for the same.
Use Class type as 300- Variants and create characteristics like example size & color of the material.
You need to activate "Material is configurable" in basic data-2 while creating a material master.
Then create a "Configuration profile" with class and characteristics.
To do this SAPMENU-->LOGISTICS-->CENTRAL FUNCTIONS-->VARIANT CONFIGURATION-->CONFIGURATION PROFILE.

Pardhu
