Hi
Is there any way of influencing the colour of the bars on a Crystal Report 2008 graph using VB Script when you have multiple data sets on a single graph?
The following is what I was hoping to achieve, I have the Sales and Budget for each department that I want to maintain the branch colours but also distinguish between the Sales and Budget bars with pattern/colour/shading.
The colour highlighting rules only allow you to apply a single condition (i.e. no AND to stack conditions) and thus I can only achieve the following 2 outcomes:
Here Branch colours are maintained but there is no colour identity between Sales and Budget, I have added custom X axis descriptions which is not dynamic if the number of the Branches change.
Here we identify with colour between Sales and Budget but no Branch colours are maintained but this will be dynamic for a change in the number of Branches. The Sales and Budget text overlap and look a bit cluttered.
Thanks in advance
Unfortunately, no. Not with VB scripts - no such thing in CR 2008 anyhow, not with the .NET SDK, not with the Java SDK.
For more information on what can be done with charts see the Developer Help files:
