Differentiating the Display of User Data

We currently have two e-directories connected to our Portal, one for InternalUsers and another one for External users. In the

Internal directory we have all our employees stored, whereas the External serves as a customer directory.

What we want to do now, is to restrict the view in the KMC (in particular the peoplefinder) so that external users can see only the Internal Users and only those who

are in the same collaboration room or who are in the same Group.

As with SP14 there is a new feature named "SAP Extension for Differentiating the Display of User Data" (see link: Differentiating" target="_blank">http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/04/98ac41032fda">Differentiating the Display of User Data), which works

fine as long as there exists a UME Principal Type, which can be mapped to one of our customers.

But, we currently do not have such a mapping, and would like to create this mapping with Groups or Roles, which currently is not possible...

Anyone who worked around this ?
