Apply patches using SAINT

Hi,

I'm trying to apply some patches using SAINT due the SUM is not taking all the components , but i'm haivng this error:

Currently runs an update process started by the Software Update Manager

Message No. TN687

Diagnosis

The Software Update Manager (SUM) is currently used to update the SAP System.

System Response

The System does not allow the execution of parallel update processes by other tools, like the Support Package Manager or the Add-On Installation Tool. Therefore, you cannot define and import a queue using these tools.

Procedure

Check the currenty running update process in the Software Update Manager and complete it there.

Do you know how i can fix it ? I already killed all the processes related with the SUM , even we restarted the  server to kill all the processes but we continue with the same error.

Could someone help us?

Thanks a lot, sapera

Hi ,

Have you reset the upgrade  , when you were using SUM  ?

Please post the contents of the table UVERS

How have you done the cleaning for SUM ?
