Master data conversion

Hi its very very urgent. Can anyone tell me about master data conversion. I dont know anything about it, all i know is its done through legacy system migration work bench. Please send any links or doc regarding it.

HI Aditya,

If you look at the Data Transfer Workbench (DTW) - you will find there are templates for importing data into SBO. Now this is the format that SBO expects. Thus the second leg of the conversion is covered for you.

What you must do is configure the 1st leg. You've got data in a legacy system. You'll have to extract that data (let's say from SQL to a excel doc). This data needs to be cleaned up (converted into the correct format) and then you can map it to the templates of SBO to import it...
