Redirect default URL to webgui in 6.40 ITS?

Is there a way with the 6.40 integrated ITS to automatically redirect -

http://www.mycompany.com:8000/

to

http://www.mycompany.com:8000/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui

rather than just getting an error that the service is not found?

If that is possible, does the address URL have to read http://www.mycompany.com:8000/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui, or can it just continue to read http://www.mycompany.com:8000/ and allo the user to login to the webgui.

Figured them both out. You just select the webgui as the default service in your virtual host at the top of the tree in SICF.

alternatively you could create external alias for webgui pointing to mycompany.com from transaction sicf.
