SRM UI ADDON :IF_EX_BBP_F4_READ_ON_EXIT~GET_UNIT

HI ,

I am implementing SRM UI Addon Shopping cart . In the UOM collection we are getting the dump for Null object reference.

1. SAPSRM/BD_F4_EXIT method is called.

2. EntryBadi is processed.

3. While exit : It calls for the standard method IF_EX_BBP_F4_READ_ON_EXIT~GET_UNIT which is implemented in custom class.

4.  Below is the starting line of the method which refers (lo_task)  the instance from the container.

5. But that instance doesn't have any value in the run time. So,it shows null value reference dump.

6. Below is the dump what i have got .

Please help me to resolve this error asap. Is there any configurations to be done ?

HI Saranya

It could be that this is not a BADI which is to be used in SRM 7 ..

The BADI is BBP_F4_READ_ON_EXIT

If you open the BADI you will see it is OBSOLETE ..

Kindly check the implementation of this BADI and delete / Deactivate it ..

The error should be gone
