EDI, Idoc - maximum number of segments in sequence (E1EDK28)

Hi Experts

in our SAP system segment E1EDK28 with bank data has maximum number = 20. Now we have the problem because we have more than 20 house bank with more than 20 bank accounts which are not mantioned in Idoc. Is there any way to extend this segment (extend maximum number of segment in sequence)? I tried to do this in WE30 but I can only display it.

We are using basic type INVOIC02.

Any ideas?

a very old OSS note says you shall modify the coding: 107181 - AFS IDOC: INVOIC - Zu viele Segmente von E1EDK28

Can You explain a little bit more? I read the note You provided but I didn't get a point. I need to change maximum number of segments in sequence from 20 for 30. Is it possible?

I bit wrong formulated, the note had a fix for an syntax error which was caused by more than 20 segments. By implementing the note the syntax error did not longer appear, still the restriction to 20 is valid. There are some more notes about that confirm that 20 is the limit for the INVOIC Idoc, another Idoc is even limited to 10.  Just search in OSS with keywords:  E1EDK28    20
