Under Applications->com.sap.portal.activityreport.core-> Services->ActivityReport and I have configured the report.

I saved I have restarted the service to effect the changes and in Portal Catalog

Application->com.sap.portal.activityreport.core and I have administrated the changes. The Application Details Editor is displayed.

I have clicked the Restart the portal also.

I would like to know how to execute this Portal Activity Report after making this configuration.

Can anyone help me.

Thnx in advance

Hi Kris,

all you have to do now is to create a Portal Activity Report iView where you can define the type of report and the reporting period.

Check out this link:

Hope this helps,

Hi Kris,

here an example with steps:

1. Navigate to Content Administration -> Portal Content

2. Step into a test folder and right click on the folder to create a new iView

2. Select the template "Portal Activity Report iView"

Name: Daily User Logins

Technical Name: DailyUserLogins

3. Open the newly created iView and define the following parameters

under "Specify report content"

Start of Reporting: Date 01.01.2005 and Time: 08:00

End of Reporting: Date 31.12.2005 and Time: 24:00

Time Unit for Reporting: Daily

under "Configure report options"

Information to Report: Number of users logged on

You have created a new reporting iView, aggregating information about the number of anonymous and authenticated users on a daily basis.

Hope this helps,

Robert

Hello Robert,

Thanks for your wonderful help. It works fine. But the main question here is I can see only the Authenticated Users and the Anonymous Users only the numbers. I would like to see all the names corresponding with the numbers. Can you please Help me out again. It would be very kind for me.

Thanks in advance

We experience the same "problem". Our portal is running on SP 14. Is the feature of "Details about the users who logged on" as described in http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/fb/144120ea5b4e9c9385d493a578d6c9/frameset.htm

only available from SP 15 on?

Hello All,

I have a similar problem. Am working on EP6 SP14 and have activated the Portal Activity Report but everytime I get to see a mesage as : 'No content available for the specified period'. Had activated the report 2 days back but in vain.

I think it collects data from tables like:

1. WCR_AGGINFO (In my case this tabale in empty)

2. WCR_USERNODSTAT (table has data)

3. WCR_USERSTAT (table is empty)

4. WCR_WEBCNODESTAT (table has data)

5. WCR_WEBCONTENTSTAT (table is empty)

Any idea for such a behaviour? Need to configure something else too? Ive read about this on help.sap.com but not understanding whats missing?

Awaiting Reply.

Hi Murali,

The tables are stored in your Portal database.

You can view them using the SQL Enterprise Manager...like in my case the db is SQL Server.

Hello Ritu,

I'm new to this Portals. You said that the tables are stored in Portal Database. We are using the Oracle as the database. Can you please tell me where can I view the database tables.

Waiting for your reply.

Hi Murali,

For Oracle database, you have to open Oracle Enterprise Manager Console in Standalone where u will find all the tables in database.
