oData service does not show up in Web IDE

1575 Views

Hi,

I'm trying to expose Gateway oData services of an on-premise ABAP system to my HCP account and use them in the Web IDE. I set up everything according to the documentation, but for some reason, I don't see the service catalog in Web IDE, without getting error messages anywhere.

I did the following:

- Installed SAP Cloud Connector on the SAP Systems server, connected to my HCP (trial-)account. It says it is successfully connected.

- Created a virtual system for the SAP backend system, Type Gateway, HTTP, and exposed the path /sap/opu/odata with all subpaths. Everything shows green lights there.

- Created a new destination in my HCP account, type HTTP, URL = http://<virtual host>:<virtual port>, Proxy = OnPremise, with basic authentification (provided my user in the backend system), and added the following additional parameters:

- WebIDEEnabled = true

- WebIDESystem = <System ID>

- WebIDEUsage = odata_abap,odata_gen

- sap-client = <client>

According to the documentation I found, the configuration should work like this. But if I created a new master detail app from template in Web IDE, this oData services is not available in the wizard.

Any ideas whats missing or what is wrong?

And does anyone know if there are any checks / logs / output of whatever type that can help to analyze such an issue?

Thanks,

Tobias
