Hi,
I'm trying to configure the SLD.
I've searched the whole forum and everybody is saying I have to connect to http://<server>:50000/sld.
When I try this, I get the error, The requested resource doen't exist.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks,
Wim
Hello Moreels,
The HTTP port number is not always 50000 unless the SID of your server is 00. Normally the HTTP port number is calculated as follows. HTTP Port = 50000+ (SID * 100)
Good Luck,
Balakrishnan

Hi,
I checked the SAPMMC and the engine is up and running...
I don't think it's a server problem as I am able to connect to http://<server>:50000 without a problem.
Filling in the ip-address gives even less results.
This way I get the standard internet explorer error message.
When I try http://<server>:50000/sld, the server is responding with an error message.
The hosts and services file are filled correctly...
Using the ip-address I get a standard internet explorer error message:
The page cannot be displayed
...
Using http://<server>:50000/sld I get an error response from the server:
404 not found
The requested resource does not exist.

Hi,
When you installed the WebAS, you had to choose whether you had an SLD already installed or not. If you selected that it was already installed, the SLD does not get installed along with the WebAS if I remember correctly. Also, if you are using the sneak preview edition there might not be an SLD installed, at least that was the case when I tried the slim edition.

Hi,
I have the problem similar to this.
my database is installed in Server1 and WAS and J2EE engine is installed in Server2.
So if i try to connect to http://server2:port/sld - its asking for a user name and password, which I've forgotten.
Where should I check this password?Or should I connect in someother way?
Thankx in advance..
Regards,
Swapna
