Meaning of LineType field in JDT1 table

Does anyone know the meaning of the LineType field in JDT1 table?

Hi,

This field is purely for B1 internal use. The valid values can be from 0 to 12. However, most of the line types will be 3 and 0.

What benefit may you get in knowing their detail?

Hi

in Spanish localization I found the following values:

linetype = 3

13 -> A/R invoice.

14 -> A/R credit memo

18 -> A/P invoice

19 -> A/P credit memo

203 -> A/R Down payment

All are marketing documents with no inventory transactions.

linetype = 0

Delivery, return, production documents, incoming and outgoing payments, ...

linetype = 5

Inventory Stock Posting (Reconcile) Lines

Inventory Initial Quantity

Alright, but we are just experimenting and trying to "deduce" or "infer" the meaning of LineType.

Is there no documentation available which explains this?

Has anyone used this in any query to meet any practical requirement?

I don't know the meaning of Line type.But all invoices posted with line type 3. The default value is zero.
