    Hi Raghu,

sap.m.table is responsive so it is adjust the width based on devices screen width,

so fixedcolumncount is not can set width for the table.

    • Robin,

The purpose of fixedColumnCount is to make columns referenceable, i.e say I want my Name column fixed and rest of the columns scrollable, this way I can refer the hidden columns information to the Names from my fixed column.

Now the question about being responsive, on smaller screens the data is wrapped under the first column data and by default referenceable to the first column. In short the purpose of fixedColumnCount in a smaller screen is already handled, but on larger screen we are not able to do this using sap.m.Table.

If there is a way to accomplish this or we have to extend sap.m.Table to get this behavior.

      Any help will be appreciated.
