BEx not displaying complete results

Hi,

Pertaining Info Object 0Employee,

Why is it that when I run a query with only 0EMPLOYEE Info Object in the Row(and NO any other restriction), I do <b>not </b>get the whole list of my 0EMPLOYEE names ?

I have checked my Info Object Master Data Maintance and see lots more values in there compared to which gets displayed via BEx.

My report is run on Info Cube: 0PY_C02

What was said above is true.

To report om master data you need to set the appropriate settings in IO maintenance, BEx tab.

Hi mates,

I am still not able to display the complete values of my 0EMPLOYEE IO.

Following is the Setting of My BEx Tab

Display : Key and Text

Text Type: Default

Bex Description : Short

Selection: No Selection Restriction

Query Def. Filter Value Selection: Values in Master Data

Query Exe Filter Val. Selec: Only Posted values for navigation

Hi,

Do you have data in the Infocube 0PY_C02 with Employee Infoobject populated, when you are reporting on the Infocube the the employee details for records of the Infocube will only be fetched.

If you just want a list of Employee name, I would suggest create a report on 0EMPLOYEE infoobject, with just 0EMPLOYEE in the row and you would get the desired result.

Hi,

I guess you get values which are used in the InfoCube only. If you want all the values in the Infoobject you should report on Infoobject itself.

In this scenario, you could turn on the infoobject for reporting and report directly off the master data.
