27 pay period in a year - question on month end accrual


Hi experts,

The question is for adding an extra pay period to the current year 2015 (Canadian payroll). All employees in all payroll areas are hourly and paid bi-weekly. There are no salary/exempt group. PP 01/2016 pay date is Jan 01, 2016 which is a holiday hence the employees are to be paid on Dec 31, 2015. This makes the pay period as 27/2015 instead of 01/2016. Entries in T549Q and T549S are not changed as above. I am wondering whether there will be any impact on month end accruals if this change is made now. Appreciate the feedback.
