PPM on Solution manager CATS integration

Hi All,

We are using PPM on Solution manager and have integration with ECC for CATS integration.

I am able to generate IO as well as PS Projects ECC . I am also able to assign a resource on Task , release and send this task to CATS work
list (ECC) but when I am trying to fill timesheet for resource we are able to fill timesheet for any no of day(  irrespective of actual project assigned
date), ideally it should be like he can fill time sheet for the dates he is allocated to the project .

Appreciate if some once can help me how I can achieve scenario in which resource can book his time sheet for the period only  (dates he is allocated on the project)

Hello Amit,

The system behaves differently when populating the CATS worklist depening on whether you are using confirmation via role or confirmation via task in the relevant project type customizing.

I would recommend that you check the following page in the online help, which explains how the worklist is populated in the two scenarios:

I am not aware of any other way to influence the system behaviour in this area, beyond the logic which is explained in the aforementioned link.
