Analysis Authorization

Hi,

My requirement is to create Analysis Authorization Object on profit Centre Hierarchy, For that reason I created Hierarchy Authorization object with a user exit…

Everything is working as expected if the Profit Centre is available in the report, User is being displayed or executed for the authorized profit centre hierarchy only……

But reports which doesn’t have profit centre in the reports its not working, I refer something called as Colon (:) authorization, But colon authorizations displays aggregated data for all profit centre….is there any way I can limit user aggregated access only to respective profit centres he or she are authorized.

Thanks

Hello,

Profit center has to be there in the input criteria of the report so that the user is getting restricted to the required Profit centers.

Hi,

I suggest to add a profit center authorization restriction to all reports even those where user don't want to see profit center.

Where user don't want to see profit center just deactivate "ready for input".

If you add an authorization variable on the profit center in the concerned reports, the user should only see the aggregated value of its authorized profit centers.
