    Hi Giri

    There is no such rule that bind the overtime generation methods to the type of time management. T510S can be used in negative time management as well. Based on the business requirement we are required to choose the method that best suits to accomplish it.

    Go through TO01 and TO02 accordingly you will get an idea, when we wanted to generate Overtime with the help of V_T510S we should have valid processing type for that we should generate valid processing type in Time management before V_T510S then only we can generate Over time.

    We can generate with the help of IT2002 as well, there are some other options as well need to explore them.

    Regards

    Venkatesh

    1. OT

    1.1. As the others said, OT can be generated in time eval schemas TM00 ^& TM04 for both +ve & -ve time mgt.

    1.2 A PCR can be used to generate a w/t with ADDZL op'n or it can be generated through function GWT.

    2. Infotype 2010

    2.1. This can be generated through time sheet or manually entered. Normally it is not read/processed in time eval schemas TM00 or TM04. In some installations, I have built a custom function for IT 2010 for time eval schema, for specific customer requirements.

    2.2. It can be entered manually with payment basis, etc

    2.3. In pay roll sub schema XT00, function P2010 processes the IT 2010 records of current pay period. It calls a PCR to evaluate the times entered based on the record details. It is possible it may be evaluated in a later PCR

    2.4. The w/t's generated nay be for OT as well as for other purposes;

    2.5. The w/t's are not subject to pro-rating in PCR XVAL. Normally pcl 10 is zero for the w/t's used here.
