Hi,
The Standard Workflow WS12300111 is used for Leave Application. I have one query as follows:
After the Approval Task ("000158 Request Approved"), there is no task for sending mails. Then from where the process of sending mails to Approver and Requestor is triggered from?
Does the mail triggering happen automatically or do we need to run RPTARQPOST in order to post the approved leave request ?
Thanks in Advance,
Anita.
Hi Anita,
To send the mails after approval of leave request you need to configure the batch job for program 'RPTARQEMAIL'.
To update the infotypes after leave approval, you have to configure the background job for program 'RPTARQPOST'.
Thanks,
Vijay.

RPTARQEMAIL sends the emails (if the job has been scheduled). Many times the email sending steps have been added to the workflow template, but not in your case, if you are using the standard template.

No, see above answer. RPTARQPOST shouldn't be needed for emails. It just posts the leave request for infotype 2001.
Kind regards,
Karri

Hello,
The reminder mails to approvers are triggered from SAP extended Notifications. Refer to

Yes you will have to run RPTARQPOST in order to post the approved leave request.

Hi,
Mails in Leave Request are sent by report RPTARQEMAIL.
You have to schedule this one.
