Hello All,

Can anyone clear me whats the difference between

1. User Simulation and User level Simulation

2. Role level and role level simulation.

3. Profile level and profile level simulation

4. HR Objects and HR objects level Simulation.

Hello Rajasree,

All the reports (User Level, Role level, Profile level and Objects Level) provide risk analysis based on the authorization that user, role, profile or object has respectively in the backend systems.

The simulation reports allows you to perform risk analysis on a "What-if-I-add-more-authorization" situation without actually adding the access in real time. So, you can for example, run a risk analysis on a user with a new tcode xyz. The xyz is just a parameter in the analysis and NOT actually been given to the user in the backend. Thus, called "simulation". Simulation provides various options such as simulate with new tcode or new role or new authorization object.
