Trace not getting generated for a Service Definition using SRT_UTIL!

Hi,

I am trying to trace a Service Definition using the Transaction Code SRT_UTIL.

The values of 'functional trace' & 'payload trace' are maintained as 'Active' under my user-name in the SRT_UTIL but no traces are getting generated.

I have checked the value of the constant 'CL_SOAP_UTIL=>M_FUNC_TRACE_LEVEL' (equivalent to functional trace) in the debugger and it is set as '0' even after maintaining these values in the SRT_UTIL.

Can anybody help me on this one as the Business wants to take trace of the web services due to some error out situations.

Many Thanks,

Tanmoy

Hi Tamoy,

Try to set a date selection less restrictive.

Check if these notes affect your system:

2113127 - Web Service payload or functional traces are not seen in SRT_UTIL

1640442 - Trace messages in soamanager

Regards.

Hi Inaki,

I still wondered why the SRT_UTIL trace did not work in a non-staging environment - I guess it had to do something with the web-service call not reaching the SRT framework or it might have something to do with authorizations!

I am thankful it worked properly in the Production and could finally solve the  issue that the users were ever clamoring for!

Closing the thread!

Thanks,

Tanmoy
