CRM extractor for BW

Hi,

Currently we are using cmod exit and function module to enchance CRM datasource to BW. I would like to know how to implement BADI and what are the different between MFLOW, SFLOW and BDOC. Most of the posting I am finding is regarding transaction data. Can I use BADI for master data as well. e.g (Relationship and BPartner)?

1) BADI: se19 > create implemention > you can create more than one BADI interfaces in it. go the interface tab

2) could you explain more about the questions regarding using badi for what purpose..

Thanks for getting back to me. What I am trying to do is to append Relationship created on date to 0BP_RELATIONS_attr. And I want to try using BADI vs. Function module. But don't know how to go about doing it. I know 1st I would need to append the new created date object to the datasource. Then goto se19 create a new Implementation name (any name)? What is Definition name for Business Add-ins? I just don't know what I am suppose to be doing.

I guess if you look into the following OSS note, it would help you. Its pretty self explainatory as to how to use the BAdi to enhance the CRM datasource.

Hi Doniv,

Thanks for the note. I was able to use Definition name "RSU5_SAPI_BADI" and assign new implementation name to make the extractor to load.
