Hello forum,
We have a requirement in our enterprise portal for using the (standard) BW template for BW iViews. We want to use the (standard) BW template from the BW server instead of the portal theme.
Note that the (customized) portal theme will still be used for other items in the portal and the portal navigation, but only the content of the BW iView needs to overrule the theme by using the standard theme of the BW server.
Any ideas?
Thanks for your time.. Kind regards,
Walter

Have you tried creating a URL iView directly to the BW query instead of using the BW Query iView template? In this manner, the portal stylesheets should not be rendered.
Good luck!
Kyle

Hi Kyle,
We upload the BW roles to the portal, including the iViews. Therefor we'd like to change the existing iViews rather than creating new ones. Any more ideas?
If I capture the URL that is being created when logging on to BW, it looks like:
http://<bw_server>:<port>/sap/bw/BEx?
sap-language=nl&
sap-client=200&
accessibility=&
style_sheet=http://<ep_server>:<port>/irj/portalapps/
com.sap.portal.design.portaldesigndata/themes/
portal/sap_tradeshow/BIReports30/
BIReports30_ie6.css?6.0.14.0.0&
cmd=ldoc&
infocube=<infocube>&
query=<query>
If I remove the &style_sheet=.. part and create the remaining link as an URL iView, the iView is displayed as requested, using the standard template from the BW server.
However, since we need to use the delivered iViews, we need to adjust the existing iView. I tried adding "&style_sheet=" to "BEx Web Application Query String" and "ContentLink" parameters of the iView, but no success.
Please advice if you have any other ideas..
Thanks!
Walter
