Hello,
maybe I really missed it - checked here:
SAP Development Tools for Eclipse
but is there any document which has the full feature list of ABAP in Eclipse?
The best would be some Table like:
Feature | AiE Version | BackEnd Version
So if anyone knows about such a list, it would be great to get such a link,
otherwise it is @SAP to create it
Best regards,
Jakob

Hi Benjamin,
thank you very much - this is exactly what I was looking for!
Although this is already an outdated matrix,
as in the meantime with version 2.41
there are again a lot of new features.
Best regards,
Jakob

Hi Jakob,
the matrix is only focussing on features that have dependencies to the ABAP server version.
Features that work against every backend release are not mentioned in the matrix.
Regards,
Thomas.

But wouldn't it be useful to get a list of all features,
that are ONLY available in Eclipse but not in SE80?
Then it would be way easier to argue why the developers should use Eclipse...

If you want to convince your colleagues to use Eclipse, then show them how it makes their daily work easier.
I always like to show following features as a big benefit:
- unlimited SAP GUI views in Eclipse, not only 6
- full integration of SAP GUI transactions to work with DDIC objects
- cross system source code comparison in a *real* comparison view, not in a wannabe (sorry, SE80 )
- automatic syntax check at design time
- cross object search (reports or classes as well as structures or domains in the same search result
- quick fix and proposals to enhance source code creation
- renaming methods, members and classes (refactoring)
Mostly, people recognize what is useful for themselves at the moment they see it. But, tbh, some things are still better in SE80, like message classes and translations. But that's the real freedom when you use ADT: You really can *chose* the proper tool for your work and imho that's the message to encourage people to try out ADT.
