Hi ya,
I have J2EE engine without SLD installed on my machine where a static Webdynpro is running. For me to connect to a SLD on a different machine to run a complex webdynpro, does any one know the procedures to follow on?
Also can anyone help me in configuring ADS(Adobe Document Services) which is on another machine which I can use from my machine with just a J2EE Engine.
Your help is very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Praveen
Hi Praveen,
If you want to point to a remote sld
Go to
C:\usr\sap\<instance>\JC<instance number>\j2ee\admin -> go.bat
Log on with the user id and password
Click on
Cluster -> <instance> -> Server -> Services
go to SLD Data Supplier.Go to http settings and enter the parameters.Presss save
Go to CIM Client Generation Settings and enter parameters.In the above screen we have to give permission to all the domain with Lcr and Webdynpro

hi Praveen,
If you are using a different machine for ADS you will have to give the url of that machine explicitly in Visual Admin
See this url for configuring ADS in different machine

Hope this helps you
