Hi All,

I want to send email notifications to users when a new document is added to a repository or when a particular document has changed.

I know we can send a standard message in the email, however I would also like to attach a document along with this mail.Can we attach documents to send along with he standard notification message ? Please let me know.

Hi Vivek,

Just a thought, when you can send a standard email with a link that a new document is creatd why do you want to send the document as attachement. Thinking from network traffic as well as standardization point of view this doesn't make much sense.

I think its possible to send document through email as attachment. You need to write your custom code and get the guid for the document

Well it's a legal requirement, I have to send terms and conditions as an attachment with a mail.

Can you please guide me as to where should I write the custom code that you have mentioned.What areas should I look for to get more information on this.
