Balance Sheet based on HANA

We are in the process of developing the Balance Sheet based on HANA.

We used 0FIGL_V30 cube to create the balance sheet in BW.

We are unable to locate the Financial Statement Item node to create the Balance Sheet in BW on HANA.

What is the possibility to get this node in HANA-Optimized Info Providers?.

Hi

Did SAP ever develop new HANA optimised objects that would replace the old concept using Virtual Providers reading Function Module? According to this SAP Note:

2564548 - Balance Sheet Reporting for SAP HANA optimized BI Content

SAP says that there is no content available. My problem is how to get ready for BW4HANA if we cannot replace i.e. 0FIGL_V30 with a HANA optimised object.

Any ideas on this one?

Hi Leo,

in BW/4HANA you can use BADi Provider instead:

BAdI Provider: FI-GL: Balance Sheet Reporting - 3BVBFIGL01

Thanks for mentioning the SAP Note, I will check with the owner if it can be updated...

Best regards,

Andreas

Hi Danu,

Please give more explain about your question.

Financial Statement - Reporting Financials (EhP3) - SAP Library

Financial Statement Item (0GLACCEXT) is enabled as a hierarchy under the Row and the key figure Balance (0BALANCE) placed under the Column.

The 0GLACCEXT is something I added to 0FIGL_O10, and I created a BAdI for virtual characteristic to derive the value of 0GLACCEXT during the query runtime based on the value of 0BALANCE, e.g. account 30001010 appears under two different parent nodes Assets and Liabilities in the 0GLACCEXT hierarchy. And in the BEx report it should go to Assets if the run-time balance is larger than zero otherwise it should go to Liabilities.
