KF can't find in Transformation

Hi Folks,

I am gonna ask you a silly question. It's driving me nuts. I am unable to find an KF infoobject in SAP BW transformation (7.x) while the KF exist at the infocube level and showing data at report level. There are different Rule groups present in the transformation but none of them show the KF mapping or KF infoobject itself. Nothing present at Start routine as well for the KF. Am I doing anything wrong here? We are on 7.4 version. Does anyone have same problem? Help!

Hi Ricky,

Is it a Non-Cumulative KF? These KFs do not show up in the transformation. A NCum KF would be based on two cumulative KFs for inflow and outflow - these would be shown in the transformation.

This is an Inventory cube 0IC_C03 Key Figure 0TOTALSTCK.

If this doesn't show up in transformation then where do I find its calculations and mapping?

Hi Ricky,

0TOTALSTCK is a non-cumulative key figure and 0IC_C03 is an Inventory cube.

As said earlier, this KF won't show up in the transformation and will not show up even in LISTCUBE. This is normal behaviour.

The system calculates the value of this KF at query runtime. To know how it is calculated, please search on SCN for Inventory Management in SAP BW. Please also check SAP Help, they have a documentation on the calculation of inventory.
