My quotation pipeline role missing on HANA

Hi everyone,

Recently I've been trying to install the My Quotation Pipeline fiori application. I have already installed a HCO_HBA_A_QTPL_S 100 component on HANA XS using hdbalm:

However, the sap.hba.apps.qtpl.s.roles::qtpl role it is missing, and I am not able to assign it to a user as it is said in the configuration section.

I guess, that I have to install something additional, but what?

Hi Tomasz,

guess you're looking for the role in wrong place. It has to be added within Application Privileges tab in SAP Hana XS administration portal (in user roles assignment).

Application Privileges are not visible in SAP HANA studio.

Hi Pawel,

The only role I could found within the Application Privileges tab is called sap.hba.apps.qtpl.s::Execute. Unfortunately, according to the configuration guide I have to add the sap.hba.apps.qtpl.s.roles::qtpl role within the Granted Roles tab, but it isn't there.

Hi,

Finally, I managed to find out why the specific role wasn't visible. It was due to error during installation of the HCO_HBA_A_QTPL_S component and objects were not active.

Anyway, now when I had assigned a specific application role I am able to run it, but there some privileges are missing.
