MIRO - display field ID and text

Hello all - I know this is simple.  I just cannot remember where it is.

When I am in MIRO, I see the tax code and tax description.   For the plant, all I see is the plant code.   Where/how can I set it to see both the plant code and the plant description?    And not just the plant, any field.   If I want to change this layout, where is it?

Have you tested the same ? Are you able to do the same from transaction SHDO (whatever it is SHD0) ?

Hi,

Check the layout used by other user. And try to change your layout. I have tested it in my system and it is as given below:

With description: (tax code and description)

Without description: (Only tax code)

If this is not your requirement then please share your screenshot.

Hi Cheryl,

It is not possible for plant text in the layout. However, you can check with your ABAPer for add this field by user exit.

Hello Cheryl,

You can change the field status of all the fields by going through T-Code OB41 and selecting 31 as posting key. There you can push the "Maintain Field Status" button and Plant comes under "Additional Account Assignments". However, you can also change any field to HDRO (Hide, Display, Optional, Required) you want for MIRO.

Thank you.  I did check OB41.   I don't want to change the field status (required, suppressed, etc). 

It is purely the display in MIRO.

When I am in MIRO and I look at the Plant column I see US00 - the plant code.    The person next to me sees  United States Plant (description).  

The same is true for tax code.    I see:   I0 Non taxable (code and description).   The person next to me only sees I0.

This certainly must be in user settings or personal layout.   I just can't find it.

Hello Patra - Apologies for the late response.  This is exactly my question.  How do I change it in MIRO?   I have the plant column in MIRO.  I see the plant ID - say US00.   But I want to see ID and description - such as:   US00  US Plant for xxx

Is there a way to change it so that in MIRO, in the plant column, I see both the plant number and description?
