Mapping Key Figures from flatfile to datasource

Hello Guru,

I have the requirement to load data from flatfile to datasource.

The flatfile have two amount key figure (KF1 and KF2). The datasource have also the two amount key figure (KF1 and KF2). But in the datasource I have the currency field for each Key figure. KF1 and ZCURR; KF2 and 0CURRENCY.

This mean that my flatfile have not the same structure as my Datasource. The consequency is that, when i am loading data the values of other fields (Entry y/n) are mapping in the Field KF2.

I have try to remove the currency Field in the datasource but SAP BW not allowed that. A key figure in a datasource without the correponding amount.

So , i need very quickly your help. Could someone help me this issue to solve?

Thanksfull in advance

Hi,

You have to give values in flat file in the similar way that are defined in datasource including currency fields(ZCURR, 0CURRENCY). Both Flat File and Datasoruce strcture should be same.

If you do not want to give currency fields, you have to define both KF1 & KF2 with fixed currency.

Regards,

Vengal.

Flat file structure and data source structure need to be same. Other wise you cant load data.

If you have KF1 and KF2 then why flat file having KF values as Y/N?

Please check with client and maintain proper data.

Based on flat file structure you can create flat file data source.
