Hi Mates,

We had scheduled for automatic database backup in our production system daily at 10:00 PM.

However the database backup is not happening.Hence i tried to delete that occurrence in dbacockpit central calendar and tried to create new occurrence.

But the old occurrence is not getting deleted. When i tried to delete the occurrence i am getting the error "500 connection timed out"

I also tried to create a new occurrence without deleting the old occurrence but it is getting struck at 5th step.Is it right to create a new occurrence without deleting old occurrence??

This is a critical thing and i need your immediate help

Thanks&Regards,

Adarsh B J

Hi Kimon,

I am taking manual database backup of production everyday using the following command in Production system at OS level like you pointed out. However i want to get a permanent solution for automatic database backup of the production system at SAP level which is not happening.

Hi,

I am not sure what is the problem behind the "connection error" but if you need to have a backup of your databases you can run commands like the one you see at the first screenshot (dump database ...) from another client. At least interactive sql should be available. This can be a temporary solution until you fix the cockpit issue.

Kimon
