Production Order Cost Analysis

Dear all,

Please look into the issue i am facing. I have created a material with planning strategy 50. Run MRP against sales order. After confirming production order, i have opened cost analysis.

Sales Order:

Cost Analysis:

Material Standard Price:

As per cost analysis, Final goods receipt price is coming from plan cost of component materials and activity price of confirmations. As you can see, Standard price of material is completely different which is not reflected in costing. How is this cost coming? What is the configuration? If i want only standard price to be fetched, what configuration to be done?

If i use any other strategy, or no strategy, final goods receipt price is coming from Standard Price of material.

Thanks,

Sayak

Hello Sayak,

Please test the same scenario with planning strategy 40.

In planning strategy 50 when Goods receipt is done on such production order, then stock goes to sales order stock for use of that specific customer. Costing will be done at sales order level. as per the requirement class 45 OVZG setting for requirement type KEV.

The Sales order will link to the Production order through this the Production cost will captured and estimated in the total sale order cost.

Dear Mr. Rupesh,

I have tried Planning Strategy 40. Finished goods receipt cost is coming as per Standard Price in MM. But for the above issue as you can see in cost analysis, Final goods receipt price is coming from plan cost of component materials and activity price of confirmations. How is this cost coming?

Hello Sayank,

In MTO actual Cost will be calculated for sale Order level  means Product Cost by Sales Order.
