I am posting a question on behalf of one of our clients. They purchased 4 Crystal Reports from us and installed it onto 4 Citrix Servers with great success and have been using them for a while. The Crystal Reports for one of the servers suddenly stopped working for no apparent reasons - we both decided to take the approach of un-installing Crystal Reports and then re-install it.
After numerous attempts and failures we finally un-installed it off the server but we couldn't do it via the wizard from the disk nor un-install it from Control Panel. One of the Engineers from our Client side was able to remove it manually.
When we attempt install the software it goes at an incredibly slow pace and I was wondering is there anyone on this discussion board that can suggest anything to get this software to install? The problem with our client side is that their Citrix servers are automatically restarted every night so we cannot leave the install to run by itself.
