SAP Solution Manager 7.1 Installation (for Oracle DB)

Hi, Please help to suggest which media that I need for SolMan Installation, I already read Master Guide and Media List for SolMan 7.1 but I can't came up with what exactly media do I need to use for installation.  I plan to install as central system which is Windows 2008 R2 and ORACLE Database. I follow this link (https://websmp107.sap-ag.de/swdc) then follow as this (Installations and Upgrades - S" SAP SOLUTION MANAGER" SAP SOLUTION MANAGER 7.1) then choose Installation->Windows->ORACLE Database then it's show a lot of media to use but I can't figure which I need. I want to install from scratch (not an update) and plan to have DB into SolMan separate from ERP. Thanks

You can refer the SAP link(Require SAP S-user id)

Select the "Release 7.1" - select option "Planning" - select the "Media List SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SR1"

Hello Nguyen,

How is the installation going on, is it completed or not.

Even I have same issue so would you advice me with media list and also basically Kernel Media too

Hello Nguyen,

Here some screenshots that I've taken for you. I assumed that your Windows is 64bits, so you can select respectively to your processor architecture.

• Download -> Language DVD, Java Components, Oracle11G client, latest solman 7.1 SPS

• Download -> Oracle11G RDBMS, Solman 7.1 Inst.Export DVDs

• Download -> SWPM

• Download and kernel DVD for SWPM, of course

Everything is listed in the Media List-SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SR1 Guide, under Installation Media & Media for Installation and Upgrade sections.

You can also take a look at this note 1806601 for more info.

You should download it according to the machine/system type.

51042333_* : 32Bit

51042334_* : 64Bit

PS. Please proceed according to the installation guide for the installation.

You could start by downloading following media

51042609_*,51047747,51049441_*,51042607_*,51042334_*,51042608_*

and latest SWPM to go with installation process of SOLMAN 7.1 .Also you need to download oracle rdbms according to your platform.
