How to find the Object ID for a particular field.

Dear Experts,

I want to see the changes made in CDHDR and CDPOS in SE16N, being from the functional background I am not being to find out the OBJECT ID,

Can any one help me to find out the object id for any field so that I can check the changes made through Object ID in the above mentioned tables.

    The object value is depend upon your transaction. System will store the object value differently as per your change log transaction.

    As an example, if you change anything in vendor master data (from XK0*), then system will store the vendor number in the 'object value' field. If you change a purchase order (from ME2*N), then system will store the PO number in the field object value. If you change a material master record (from MM0*), then system will store the material number in the field object value.

    Hi Sagnik,

    Please check any existing entry then you are able to understand that how object ID is retrieved for any entry in CDPOS / CDHDR.

    You can check the table TCDOB for some help,

    exact relationship is getting difficult to find 😊

    Sagnik,

    1st you have decide which type of object changed.

    If you want to check any new customer add/change.

    OBJECTCLASS = 'DEBI'

    OBJECTID = Customer number

    In this way you will get changed/new data.

    You can also use transaction SCDO for the same..

    hi sagnik,

    as you said if you can find the object ID then you can find the field which is change you can find.in order to find the object ID you can get the list of object ID with text in table TCDOBT.
