Hi Imaran,

Please check portal server and your ECC system time difference should be more than 3 minute.

Kindly ask basis team to configure "  NIST Internet Time Service " for both server and then check.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Imran,

Please follow below steps to check if SSO is working?

· Execute function module (SE37) create_rfc_reentrance_ticket and confirm that a long alpha-numerical string is returned without any exception.

E.g. of ticket:  AjExMDABAAxTSEFIREVFICAgICACAAMwMDADAAhROTkgICAgIAQADD...... (Length 255 char)

HI Imran,

you can ask basis team to check cross host entry in both the system and maintain the entry of server in service.ini file.

Thanks & Regards,

If your portal is 2 minutes ahead than your R/3, then test this out.

Logon to your Portal, wait for more than 2 minutes then click on the link that points to your R/3 (e.g. Shutdown summary link)

If all SSO pre-requisites are correct (sso instance parameters like login/accept_sso2_ticket, STRUSTSSO2 contains the cert and ACL of the issuing Portal, user is valid in both Portal and backend, Portal and R/3 FQDN URLs are in the same domain, etc.) then that 2 minute diff might be the an issue. As you see the MYSAPSSO2 is time-based, and if it is created 2 minutes in the future then the receiving system will think the cookie is not within the validity window

Hi Imran,

Kindly check the following.

Domain

1. Front end (Portal)  and backend application should be in same domain

User id

2. Same user id should exist in back end server from which you are login in portal

3. If user id is present in back end then it should not be locked or expired

Certificates
4. Portal certificates are installed in back end or not
