Auto Remove / Replace NC Components

Hello togehter,

I'm have Problems to use "Auto remove/replace NC Components" Feature in ME. I already used that function on an other System before but on current System no scrap-and-replace-routine in POD is proposed.

I customized NC Client and NC Codes as attached. In POD I added NC_TREE; NC_SELECTION and NC_DATA_ENTRY.

Result is that I log NC Code with Component in NC_DATA_ENTRY and nothing else. Routine "Do you want to remove component" etc is not started.

Please help.

Hi Anke!

As soon as you told that you were able to use this feature in the past, the easiest way to troubleshoot the issue is to compare the config of the last successful case with the current one. The difference is likely to be about POD, NC Client, NC Code, material of the parent SFC, material of th component.

If nothing helps you find the root cause, it's likely you will need to upload your database dump to SAP Support to investigate the issue fully.

So, when you recorded the "FUSE_MISSING" NC Code did you reference a component that is definitely already assembled? And is it assembled discrete or timebased?

Hi Stuart,

Yes, I checked that Fuse is already assembled. Assembling is timebased, but I checked material in As-Built-Report (see new figure attached).
