Hi,
we are looking for ERP solution for our construction company , and i would like to know what are the basic modules that we would require to start with and , how much bare minimum cost would be incurred for the implementation ( software, hardware, and consulting costs ) , would really appreciate if someone can guide us through .

Following modules shall be required in construction industry form my knowhow,For costing you have contact to SAP or to SAP implementing firm which can guide you and do implementation for you.
Modules are:
Finance(Mandatory)
Controlling(Mandatory)
Material Management (Mandatory)
Sales and distribution
Real estate (leasing) if you are leasing the property.
Project system(required for monitoring and controlling
Quality Management depends upon reqiurement
implementation depends upon the business process and nature of work the company is carrying out

SAP also has an industry Addon for construction and equipment management as a part of the DIMP industry solution .
