Account Determinations

I am getting an unexpected result with an inventory transfer I'm trying to create and hoping someone can shed some light:

We have Advanced Account Determinations enabled and have different accounts set for different warehouses.  When I transfer inventory from Warehouse 4 to 1, I would expect the JE to show a credit to the account associated with WH4 and and debit to the account associated with WH1.  Instead the JE shows the amount credited and debited to the same account, the one associated with WH4 (or the From account)

Just a bit more information on how acct determinations are set:  In the advanced window, we have warehouse-based rules for each warehouse, except our main default warehouse (which is WH4 in the example above). So the first graphic highlights WH1

In the example above, the transaction is coming out of WH4, so none of the advanced rules apply, and it is controlled by the default rule.

According to the rules, a transfer from WH4 to WH1 should create a JE crediting account 1400 and debiting account 1401.  However, as stated, this is not what is happening.

Can anyone shed light on this?

Hi,

What is your B1 version/PL? I don't have Advanced Account Determinations environment available.

Where is mentioned it can allow warehouse level sub-ledger?

Thanks,

Gordon
