data selection for curr

hi folks,

In my requirement that i have to select currency in data selection screen to show my report in different curriencies.

eg: if user enters USD then amount should comeup in dollars, if in euros amount be in euros etc .

how to logic data selction screen for this purpose

THANKS FOR UR REPLY

MY REQUIREMENT IS THAT IF THE USER SELECTS THE CURRENCY FROM DATA SELECTION SCREEN LIKE A SINGLE VALUE EXAMPLE EITHER USD OR EURO OR CAD OR AUD ETC.

MY REPORT WORKING FOR DEFAULT USD, OTHER THAN USD IS GIVEN IT IS NOT TAKING.

SO MY QUESTION IS HOW TO WORK WITH THE CURRENCY VARIABLE TO SELECT DIFFERENT CURRENCIES AS SINGLE VALUE .

I GONE THROUGH THE DOC BUT I PRESUME THAT I HAVE TO CREATE CURR TRANS TYPES FOR ALL THE CURRECIES EXISTS.

HOW CAN WRITE FOR ALL THEM

CAN PLEASE HELP ME IN THIS REGARD.

Hi Axel,

Yes you would have to create Currency Translation type in RRC1, use the key in the query. For using the variable

1. Go to the context menu of the Key figure in the query, 2. Select "Properties".

3. Select your currency conversion key in the "Curr. Translation area.

4. Mark the checkbox "Variable Entry" for selecting the currency at runtime

5. Create the variable and use it in the target currency.
