Hi All,

We created a z-task in activity management in which Sales Org data is mandatory.

Though the Org Data Assignment Block is hided from the screen it is showing those error messages.

Is there any possibility to make it as non-mandatory ??

If so could any one please suggest the procedure..

Regards,

Nalini

Hi Nalini,

can you please provide more details.

Which error messages do you get?

You have set organizational units in your organization determination profile mandatory but you do not show the organization assignment block in WebUI?

Best regards

Hi Marion,

Thanks for your response.

I have copied 1003-Task transaction type and created a new.

In this Z-task it is asking to enter Org data and throwing standard mandatory error messages.

I did not change the standard settings, did not set organization data as mandatory.

Is it possible to make them as non-mandatory ?

Hi Nalini,

If you do not need organizations in your task you can remove the Org. Data Profile from process type customizing (SPRO - Customer Relationship Management - Transactions - Basic Settings - Define Transaction Types).

If you still like to have organization determination in your task but without mandatory org units you can remove the mandatory flag in Organizational Data Profile. You see the org data profile used in your process type (like 000000000001). Under customizing SPRO - Customer Relationship Management - Master Data - Organizational Data Determination - Change Rules and Profiles - Maintain Organizational Data Profile please select your organization profile with scenario SALE and remove the mandatory flags.

I hope this helps further.

Best regards
